Tennyson students are invited to take part in the 2026 BC Chess Challenge: Regional Qualifier #2, happening on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at UBC’s Ponderosa Ballroom. This event is part of a province-wide tournament series and offers an excellent opportunity for students to represent Tennyson, build strategic thinking skills, and enjoy friendly competition. In addition to individual awards, team trophies will be presented to the top three performing elementary and secondary schools, based on the combined results of their top four players. 📍 Details and Registration Parents are encouraged to share this opportunity with students who play chess and may be interested in representing Tennyson.
