4‑H BC, in partnership with BC Dairy, is excited to continue this fun collaboration by offering another 4‑H @ Home course—an innovative online initiative that invites youth across the province to engage in hands‑on learning experiences from the comfort of their homes. This program is an excellent opportunity for young people aged 9 to 15 to explore the vibrant world of 4‑H, even if there is no active 4‑H club nearby.
The 4-H @ Home Discover Diary project starts May 20th and runs 6 consecutive Wednesday evenings at 4:00. Thanks to the generous support of BC Dairy, participation in this project is free! The class size is limited, so interested participants are encouraged to register soon. The Discover Dairy project will take participants on a journey through the complete dairy cycle. Participants will have the unique opportunity to meet real dairy farmers, learn about essential cow care practices, understand how milk travels from farm to fridge, and even dive into the basics of cheese tasting and more! **Who Should Join?** The Discover Dairy project is perfect for youth aged 9 – 15 who are curious about farm life in BC, and how our food makes its way from the farm to our tables. No cow or prior knowledge is required—just a passion for learning and exploration! For more information and to register, please visit www.4hbc.ca/4-h-home or call 1-866-776-0373. **About 4-H BC** 4-H BC is a non profit youth organization dedicated to empowering youth through hands-on learning experiences that foster leadership, responsibility, and community involvement. Our programs inspire young people to develop life skills while exploring their interests and passions. **About BC Dairy** BC Dairy is committed to promoting the dairy industry and supporting the education of youth about the importance of dairy farming and nutrition in our daily lives.
