Afterschool Choir Coming to Tennyson

After school choir is coming to Lord Tennyson! We are partnering with Vancouver Extracurricular Music Society (VEMS, www.vems.ca). VEMS is a group of professional musicians (singers and pianists) hired and trained by Catherine Campolin (“Miss Catherine” for those who participated in choir at Lord Tennyson before 2020) who is the Program Choral Director.One of the goals of VEMS is to expose children to a wide variety of musical forms that have meaning to them. They are in the process scheduling a “Miss Catherine approved” conductor and we should have more information soon. VEMS is a BC non-profit society with a charitable number.

There is a fee, and VEMS has a bursary program. Families can apply for financial assistance during the registration process.
