December is a busy month for students, teachers, and families. FamilySmart has shared several free virtual events designed to support parents and caregivers, along with information about their ongoing 1:1 peer support services. Please feel free to share with anyone who may benefit.

​Understanding, Supporting and Connecting with Teens with Depression
Learn from a Registered Clinical Counsellor and a parent with lived experience as they discuss how depression shows up in teens and ways families can support them.

Free 1:1 Support for Parents & Caregivers
​FamilySmart offers free, confidential peer support—including throughout the holidays. No diagnosis is required. Families can reach out by email or phone to connect with a Parent Peer Support Worker.
