Free Early Literacy Screening & Parent Workshop – February 2026

From April 6 to May 15, 2026, we are excited to pilot a free, six-weekliteracy intervention for children identified as at risk through our screening.

Participation in the intervention pilot is by invitation only, extended to families who participate in the February 20 screening and whose children are identified as being at risk for reading difficulties.

If you have noticed that your child is struggling to meet early literacy milestones, be sure to register for the February 20 screening to be considered.

Winter 2026 Session:

• Online Workshop: February 18 - 6:30 to 8:00 pm
• In-person Screening: February 20 - between 2:00 to 5:00 pm (plan for a 30-minute time slot at Kitsilano Neighbourhood House - 2305 West 7th Avenue, Vancouver, BC)
