Join the 40th Walk with the Dragon – A Fun, Free Family Day at Stanley Park!

We’re excited to invite your school community to a Vancouver tradition that brings families together in fun, culture, and community spirit — the 40th Anniversary of Walk with the Dragon!

 Time: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
 Location: Lumbermen’s Arch, Stanley Park, Vancouver
 
Who We Are
Founded in 1973, S.U.C.C.E.S.S. is one of B.C.’s largest nonprofit social service organizations, supporting newcomers, youth, seniors, women, and families through programs that foster inclusion, belonging, and wellness. The S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation is a registered charity that raises funds for services not fully covered by government support.
 
What is Walk with the Dragon?
This free, family-friendly summer event celebrates diversity and community through:

• A 3km or 7km walk led by a spectacular 100-foot dragon
• Live multicultural performances, music, and a vibrant festival atmosphere
• Kids Zone with games and activities
• Delicious food stalls, games, giveaways & more!

Proceeds support S.U.C.C.E.S.S. programs that help youth, families, seniors, and newcomers through services like:

• Multilingual Help Lines (Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Farsi/Dari, and Ukrainian)
• Counselling and mental health
• Early childhood development
• Youth leadership program
• Culturally appropriate senior care
