École Lord Tennyson is celebrating Bike to School Week from June 1st - 5th! We’re encouraging students and families to use active transportation for their trips to school all week - walking, biking, scootering, skateboarding, and using mobility aids all help reduce emissions and help students arrive at school energized and ready to learn.
There will be daily prizes and a final draw on Friday. Also, the class with the most participation will get a freezie party!! If your child is coming by bike or scooter, please bring a lock. The bike racks fill up quickly so you can lock your bike to the fences around the school. Tables will be set-up in the courtyard from 8:40am - 9:00am every day with snacks, sign-in, and prize draw tickets. We will need volunteers each day to help prepare the snacks, set-up, and help with sign-in. The total time required is 8:30-9:15. Find the link for volunteer sign-up and the school's weekly newsletter (the WAAG). Comments are closed.
