Math-a-thon 2015 results are in!

MATH-A-THON 2015

We had another successful “a-thon” on April 24, 2015. This year was a Math-a-thon and with the help of all of our student fundraisers, we raised $12,847.14 for the PAC!! This exceeded previous years by more than $2000. With this money, the PAC has more than achieved it’s fundraising goal for the 2014/15 school year. In particular, we would like to thank our biggest fundraisers overall. They were Chandra Reddy, Simon Mikulash and Kate Bliss. The grade winners were West Ellis, Khalil Nader, Neva Aitken, Benjamin Ryerson, Alison Romen, Rose Fulker, Aliya Karson, Nicholas Grob, Maddox Schaller, Emma Mulligan, Maiya  Karsan and Ella Goldman. The children got to choose from a great selection of donated prizes. There were also more than 40 other participating children, randomly drawn, who received a prize for their efforts.

The prize for the best division at fundraising goes to Mme Bolegoh, Division 13. They win a pizza party for their efforts. Congratulations to the grade 1 students in Div 13!

Finally, a huge thank you to those parents and businesses (Kidsbooks, London Drugs, Kaboodles, Toybox, Just Imagine, No Pirates Allowed and Waffle Gone Wild) who donated prizes and to everyone (teachers, parents, family and friends) who supported the students in making this year such a great success.
