Spell-a-thon results

Thanks to the excellent spelling of Lord Tennyson students and thanks to the fundraising efforts of those students and thanks to the generosity of their families and friends ... the PAC raised over $15,000 in this year’s Spell-a-thon! Over 80 students received prizes for their efforts, with more than 3/4 of those going in random prize draws to any child who participated and the others going to our biggest fundraisers. Prizes had been kindly donated by Kidsbooks, Dairy Queen on Broadway and on Dunbar, Kaboodles and 4Cats on West 10th, Drexol Games, London Drugs on Broadway and Vine, as well as some  parents. The classes of Mme Lapierre and M Carrier will each receive a pizza party for being the divisions that raised the most money. The funds raised have allowed the PAC to exceed their fundraising goal for the 2015/16 school year and will allow Lord Tennyson to continue to enhance the educational experience provided to our children.
