Tennyson hosts a Volunteer Tea to thank the parents

The students and staff of Tennyson put on a entertaining and delicious tea for the parent volunteers.  Parents were greeted and served by students.  Teachers and administration mingled and chatted with parents and thanked them for all of their work to make Tennyson a better place.  They were entertained by the Grade 6/7 strings group, a class of Gr 2 students singing a thank you song, and a class of Gr 3 students playing the recorder.  Parents were able to relax and catch up with each other ... they left with smiles on their faces and a gerber daisy to take home.
