Terry Fox Run, Meet the Teacher and Welcome Back BBQ

I think this is one of my favourite days at Tennyson each year. It's such a joy to see the student's run so hard in Terry Fox's memory and the meet the teacher event and BBQ is a lovely opportunity to catch up with old friends and meet some new ones.

A big thank you to Mme Kulokas who organized the Terry Fox run again this year and a big shout our to our students who shared Terry Fox's message of hope, courage and determination by running to raise funds to help cancer patients. Donations for the Terry Fox Foundation are still being collected so check back soon for a final total.

And, thank you to the teachers who welcomed us into their classrooms and shared what the year has in store and  the Quebec 2021 parents who put on the bake sale and barbecue. The Quebec 2021 team sent the following thank you message to everyone:

"A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came to the Meet the Teacher night and Welcome Back BBQ. We were so lucky with the weather! To be honest, we were expecting rain and didn't expect so many of you.
