​We would like to share some free upcoming FamilySmart events for parents and caregivers on topics of child and youth mental health. Please distribute widely in your school communities and consider including them in your PAC or school newsletter.  All events are online, free, and require registration. ( posters attached below)

1. Emotion Regulation Part 2: Deepening Our UnderstandingLearn why kids differ in how they cope, how to understand what they need in tough moments, and strategies that can help.

For National Child and Youth Mental Health Day, a special event
3.  When Our Children Hurt InsideThis webinar offers a compassionate look at how children under 12 experience and express deep distress—including suicidal thoughts or self‑injury behaviours, and keeping connection at the centre. The emphasis throughout is on hope, relationship, and simple moments of caring presence.

 FamilySmart offers free peer support to parents and caregivers supporting children who are struggling with mental health and/or substance use, There is no wait list and no diagnosis required.
