Get involved with PAC Initiatives

Getting involved is a great way to help you understand your child's daily activities and tap into trends and fads of school life. You will get to meet parents in other year groups and feel more involved in the school community.

You don't have to take on a big job; whatever you can commit will make a big difference. Email volunteer@lordtennyson.ca to add your name to a volunteer list. We will email requests and you can step up if you're free to help out that day.

Election for Chair and Vice Chair roles will be held at the PAC meeting on Sept 26th, 2022. Read about the nominees   here!

There's a lot going on at Tennyson! Volunteers are always needed:
  • To be on the PAC Executive
  • As a class parent
  • In the classroom or on school trips
  • With the peer tutoring program (if you can speak french please consider signing up for this)
  • For sports teams
  • For clubs
  • To help organize the noon-hour program
  • To organize and/or give out the food for the hot lunch program
  • To help with the Kick-Starter and "A-Thon" fundraisers
  • For the book fairs
  • With communication - the PAC website, weekly email, Facebook and Instagram
  • To say a big thank you to the wonderful Tennyson staff with a staff appreciation lunch
  • To ensure the whole-school events  (the Halloween Howl, Winterfest and the Spring Fling) are a huge success
*Some programs currently on hold due to COVID-19
