 On April 28th, 2014, the first G Day for Girls will take place in Vancouver.
G Day is a new global social movement anchored by day-long events that celebrate and empower girls ages 10-12 as they transition into adolescence. We seek to resurrect, modernize and share the wisdom and mystery that were once passed down from generation to generation. The day-long event for 300 girls will include a wide range of speakers and activities, addressing topics including sisterhood, leadership, social change and body image. The goal is to create a space where girls can come together and explore what makes them unique as individuals as well as what connects them to one another. The Camp provides an excellent introduction to the sport of track and field and a great springboard for the Track season, as well as benefits for other sports such as soccer and basketball. Free Kick is now taking registration for their Youth Spring Soccer League. Early Bird registration discount applies until Feb 15, 2014.
