COVID-19 Rapid Test Kits for students from the BC Government have arrived.
On Monday, March 7th, each Grade 3-7 student at Tennyson Elementary School will be sent home with 1 box containing five test kits. For Grade K-2 students, Mme Kateryna and M. McEwan will be distributing the kits on Monday and Tuesday (March 7th and 8th) at 8:30-9:00 am directly to the parents. The tables will be set by the school front entrance at Maple Street, and all Grade K-2 parents are invited to pick up their Rapid Test kits in person. Please note there no additional kits available at this time, and we won’t be providing another kit in case of a misplaced kit. Please note that the instructions for the Rapid Test Kits are in the package. Also the information on how to administer the tests can also be found here: http://www.bccdc.ca/Health-Info-Site/Documents/COVID-19_Tests/POC_screening/RapidTestInstructions_Artron.pdf If a child is absent on Monday, March 7th (for Grades 3-7) or you are unable to pick up your kit in person (for Grades K-2), please contact the school office to arrange to pick up your child's test kits. |
