Hot Lunch Ordering is Open Again

1/23/2022

Yes, very exciting, lunch ordering is open again. But before you head over to munchalunch and order new lunches for your child, please be aware of a couple of changes we  made to keep things safe for the children and staff at school:

The Winter Session is only for 8 weeks of lunches (there are 2 weeks of spring break in between.) There will be a third session with more changes.
  • Pizza is NEW on Mondays
  • Tuesdays stays the same
  • Sushi is NEW on Thursdays and we switched for these 8 weeks (but only for these 8 weeks) to a different supplier. The menu is different, and I am sure it will taste different.
If you want your child to start eating Pizza on Monday January 31st, order until January 27th 23:59. As usual, order from all Menus if you expect your child to eat every week.

Don’t forget to order your pink shirt while ordering all the lunches.

Please email [email protected] if you have any questions.

Il  était une  Fois Vancouver/Once upon a time Vancouver

1/23/2022

The Alliance Française Vancouver, in its desire to provide access to creative,  cultural and educational  activities in French or translated in French to Francophones and Francophiles in Vancouver, in particular  youth, families and seniors,  is launching  the project  “Il  était une  Fois Vancouver/Once upon a time Vancouver”.

Once Upon a Time Vancouver  is a project of   theatrical  Storytelling  that will be presented  free of charge, once-a-month, to kids and families in Vancouver, British Columbia and elsewhere, from   January to December 2022.

Each Storytelling time will:
  • Last between 15 and 30 minutes
  • Be led   by an artist or a duo of artists    using any medium they wish - puppets, mime, music, objects, digital tools, etc.
  • Be themed around the celebration of the  cultural diversity of Vancouver

Each project will be an original creation or an adaptation based on themes, literary works, tales or legends specific to  British Columbia's minority communities.

Depending on health restrictions, the Storytelling time will be presented to a small audience, in an intimate setting, and will be filmed. The recording of the presentation will be edited for free access on the Alliance Française Vancouver's Youtube channel.

First session: Le Voyage Extraordinaire de Jules Verne à Méliès
Date: January 22, 2022
Time: 11 a.m.
Place: École Cousteau 3657 Fromme Rd, North Vancouver, BC V7K 2E6

Please note:
Event with limited capacity.
Vaccination proof will be required for ages 12 and older.
