False Creek Community Centre is the centre of the tween/teen social scene in the south creek and surrounding neighbourhood. Affordable and free after school and evening social and recreational programs for all kids, specifically boy+ and girls+ social-emotional learning groups, run by youth workers. Programs include free, fun Friday activities, a breakfast club on Saturdays, and an environmental club too! Check out the program here! Yes, very exciting, lunch ordering is open again. But before you head over to munchalunch and order new lunches for your child, please be aware of a couple of changes we made to keep things safe for the children and staff at school:
The Winter Session is only for 8 weeks of lunches (there are 2 weeks of spring break in between.) There will be a third session with more changes.

The Alliance Française Vancouver, in its desire to provide access to creative, cultural and educational activities in French or translated in French to Francophones and Francophiles in Vancouver, in particular youth, families and seniors, is launching the project “Il était une Fois Vancouver/Once upon a time Vancouver”. Once Upon a Time Vancouver is a project of theatrical Storytelling that will be presented free of charge, once-a-month, to kids and families in Vancouver, British Columbia and elsewhere, from January to December 2022. Each Storytelling time will:
Each project will be an original creation or an adaptation based on themes, literary works, tales or legends specific to British Columbia's minority communities. Depending on health restrictions, the Storytelling time will be presented to a small audience, in an intimate setting, and will be filmed. The recording of the presentation will be edited for free access on the Alliance Française Vancouver's Youtube channel.
