Once Upon a Time Vancouver is a project of theatrical Storytelling that will be presented free of charge, once-a-month, to kids and families in Vancouver, British Columbia and elsewhere, from January to December 2022.
Each Storytelling time will:
- Last between 15 and 30 minutes
- Be led by an artist or a duo of artists using any medium they wish - puppets, mime, music, objects, digital tools, etc.
- Be themed around the celebration of the cultural diversity of Vancouver
Each project will be an original creation or an adaptation based on themes, literary works, tales or legends specific to British Columbia's minority communities.
Depending on health restrictions, the Storytelling time will be presented to a small audience, in an intimate setting, and will be filmed. The recording of the presentation will be edited for free access on the Alliance Française Vancouver's Youtube channel.
