Swim lessons in Vancouver are notoriously hard to get into and this swim club starts kids with no swimming experience in their “green” level in shallow end of pool. Many Tennyson kids swim with the Pacific Swim Academy (PSA).
PSA is now accepting registrations for their Green and Blue levels. Kids do not need to have prior swimming lessons or experience. They need to be grade 3/going into Grade 3, coachable and able to receive instruction in a group setting. Join other Tennyson kids for excellent swim training and a friendly environment at PSA. Various times at several pools: Lord Byng, Kerrisdale, Vancouver Aquatic Centre. There is also a lifesaving sport program for more experienced swimmers looking for more skills and opportunities. Check it out on their website. Link to Spring term registration Looking for things to do over March Break?

Valhallan ESports Training, are proud to say that we are the first ones in Western Canada to bring the world of structured youth e-sports training into our community. Esports have emerged as one of the most powerful avenues for skill development, teamwork, and personal growth among students. Being the first ones to profess this in our community, we are dedicated to providing a structured and educational platform for students to not only enhance their gaming abilities but also develop essential life skills.
Our week-long camps include 15 hours of instruction from experienced coaches. Each day, players will learn important in-game skills to improve and level up their play while also learning teamwork, communication, and building confidence - all through fun gaming activities and competitions. This Spring Break, we are going to be running 2 camps:
Here's some more info on our Spring Camps --> https://arenas.valhallan.com/vancouver-bc-ca/events/#events-section Hi families, our names are Molly Brittain and Callia Enderton. We are 13 years old and currently attend Prince of Wales Secondary School and Kitsilano Secondary School. (We are alumni of Tennyson)
Over spring break we will be running a four day, half day camp from March 26th to 29th at Callia’s house in Kitsilano. This camp is for kids ages 4-9 and it will be a blast! We will play games, go on walks, there will be fun themes and so much more! We have limited space so please contact us as soon as possible if you are interested. The cost is $80 per kid per day including lunch and they can participate for 1 to 4 of the days. Currently we are trying to raise money so that we can participate in a 10 day community service program through an organization called Global Leadership Adventures: https://www.experiencegla.com/ All of the money from this camp will be going towards that adventure. If you have any question please feel free to reach out at [email protected] or [email protected] Callia is also available to look after children in the first week of spring break as well. Reach out to Callia for the first week, even for just a few hours. Thank you for spending the time to read our message and we hope to see you and your child at camp! Expect another great, friendly, fun Season with music, skill warm up, small-sided games (we don’t keep score to develop creativity and fun on the ball), country flags, mini World Cup games and much more.
Thanks to Tim Hortons, all players will receive a free soccer ball, jersey, socks and medals! Limited availability and space! Sign up now at www.freekickfc.com/ |
