9/1/2020

Picture
Great news! Randi West has volunteered to be out Technology Manager, thank you Randi, so now we just need a  social media manager to complete  our communications team.

Social Media Manager
As the social media manager you will take the lead managing Lord Tennyson PAC’s Facebook and Instagram presence. Tennyson Social Media consists of 3 platforms: Instagram, Facebook page + Facebook parent group. Typical tasks include:

  • Posting suitable content to the Tennyson Facebook and Instagram feeds to keep them fresh and interesting (including holidays, and relevant school info)

  • Responding to Facebook and Instagram messages, answering questions if you can, or passing messages to the correct person
  • Coordinating the Tennyson parent Facebook Group; letting in new members, keeping an eye on posts, answering questions and keeping it  fresh and interesting
  • BONUS: Monitoring allied organizations and neighbouring school’s Facebook pages and Instagram feeds, responding to and commenting on their posts, and sharing the information with our parents in order to to build community and support each other

The role works closely with the rest of the PAC Communications team who can help with the transition and answer any questions you have to make it easy to get going. As with all volunteering positions at Tennyson you can make it as big or as small as you like. Please email me at [email protected] if you're interested.
