It is with mixed emotions that we say good bye to our wonderful group of Grade 7 students (and their parents). We know they are excited to attend high school (and are well prepared!) but we will miss them. Best of luck in the future ... please come back to visit us!  September Start-Up
The first day of school will be on Tuesday, September 8th for one hour only (from 9am until 10am). All students will return to their previous classroom with the exception of last year's Kindergarten students, as the Kindergarten teachers will be with their new students. Please note the following:
On Tuesday, September 8, students come from 9:00 am to 10:00 am only. Students will commence in their new classrooms on Wednesday, September 9th. Class lists will be posted outside of the school on the morning of September 9th. This letter is from an incoming parent who is needing childcare:
Dear Lord Tennyson PAC, My name is Michelle and my son Fox is entering kindergarten this September. I am currently on the wait-list for TOSS, YMCA and Kits Neighbourhood house for both before and after school care but it looks like Fox will not receive a spot. As an alternative, until I can get out of school care, I am looking for someone to pick up at 2111 West 11th Ave (and Arbutus) or a family day care that I can drop him off nearby the school. The time I will need care is from 8:00 am- 9:00 am and from 3pm-5pm. Please feel free to contact me via e-mail or at 778-318-4022.
