MATH-A-THON gets "A+", "Exceeds Expectations"

This year's Math-a-thon, which took place just prior to Spring Break, was a tremendous success. It really did exceed expectations!! 

With the help of Lord Tennyson students, $10,438.55 was raised for the PAC. This was almost $4000 more than last year's Spell-a-thon. The money is earmarked to help Arts Programs, Technology, and Playground Replacement at our school. 

Our big fundraisers this year were Chandra Reddy, Simon Mikulash, and Peter Mikulash. The grade winners were Alison Roman, Rachel Rallison, Maddox Schaller, Morgan Aarons, Emma Mulligan-Jones, Kate Bliss, Alex Clegg, Stephanie Ross, Jasper Schaller, and Jamie Guy.  

These children won the opportunity to choose from a great selection of donated prizes.  There were also more than twenty other participating children, randomly drawn, who won prizes for their efforts.

This year we are also rewarding the best divisions at fundraising. The pizza party goes to Mr Carrier's Division 6, for raising $1365.30, with almost 100% participation. Honorable mention goes to both Divisions 9 and 12. Finally, a sincere MERCI to all the teachers and the students for making this year's Math-a-thon such a success!
