A Huge Thank You

We want to say a big thank you to our wonderful school community!

We are so very grateful for our dedicated teachers, administrators ans support staff who educate, encourage and inspire their students beyond their call of duty! This year, we didn't have the opportunity to personally thank you with a Staff Appreciation lunch. The gift cards for Pallet Coffee Roaster are a small token of our appreciation; we can't wait to celebrate you all with a proper party next year!

We are eternally thankful for the parents, grandparents and carers who volunteer countless hours to  support learning, and make our children’s school experience so fun and memorable. Please join me in giving a huge thank you to:

• The PAC Executive
• Our class parents, the library volunteers, and the parents who accompanied classes on their field trips
• The Quebec 2021 parents who ran the Welcome Back BBQ,  Winterfest and the  Hot Lunch program this year
• Everyone who made the Halloween Howl a spooktacular success
• The teachers and parents who coached and supported our cross country, volleyball and baseball teams and or Math club
• Everyone who helped put on the Scholastic Festival de Livre, and the wildly popular Book Swap
• The safe arrivals team who ensured everyone was accounted for each day and the parents who manager the Lost and Found reuniting you with your possessions
  
• The Peer Tutoring volunteers who support Grade 6 students who are tutoring their Grade 3 peers in French reading and writing.
• The Noon-hour Program team who provide so much enrichment to the student's year
  
• The parents who encouraged our kids to try new fruits and vegetables through the BC School Fruit and Vegetable Nutritional Program 
  
• The Communications Team who keep you in the know
  
• The Tennyson 2020 team for the really fun red Truck Brewery fundraiser night, and, more importantly,  for the hours of work they have spent representing Tennyson families at VSB meetings for the playground, technology and other import decisions for the new school.
  

 Despite it being the strangest school year ever we've still made some great memories!
