There are two After School Programs coming to Tennyson!
These are organized by VSB's Community Schools Team (they are not organized by PAC so please direct questions to Dianne - her contact info is below). YOGA is coming to Lord Tennyson! (Gr 3 & 4 students) Wednesdays: November 18 – December 16, $45 3:05-4:05 pm, The Music Room Registration forms are available outside of the school office. Cheques (made out to VSB) may be deposited inside the dropbox outside of the office. Registration deadline: November 12, 2015 Attention Grade 3 and 4 Students: Explore playful poses and relaxing breathing with Gemma, our qualified children’s yoga instructor. Children are all welcome to experience yoga at their own, unique level of ability. Dress in stretchy/comfy clothes. Stretch, relax, and learn the basics of yoga in a fun and safe environment! SPORTBALL is coming to Lord Tennyson! (Kindergarten - Gr 2) Wednesdays: November 18-December 16 3:05-4:05 pm, The Gym, $68 Registration forms are available outside of the school office. Cheques (made out to VSB) may be deposited inside the dropbox outside the office. Registration deadline: November 12, 2015 Attention Grades Kindergarten – 2: Refine, rehearse, repeat. Multi-sport classes are the heart of Sportball programming. Coaches focus on the basic skills common to all sports like balance, coordination, stamina and timing in a fun, supportive, non-competitive setting that emphasizes teamwork. Each class focuses on one of eight different popular sports: hockey, soccer, football, baseball, basketball, volleyball, golf and tennis. Program fees are not a barrier for participation.
