Another successful Spell-a-Thon

The annual Lord Tennyson “A-THON” Fundraiser took place on February 14th, with the prizes awarded on February 27th.  It was a very successful event, raising close to $10,000 for the school.  Along with the Kickstart campaign, we have exceeded our fundraising goal for the year! Thank you Tennyson parents.

This year our top 3 fundraisers (and spellers) were Simon Mikulash, grade 3; Alison Roman, grade1; and Michaela Astudello, grade 2.  Prizes were also given to the top 2 fundraisers in each grade and there were more than 30 random prize draws for other participants.  The best division at fundraising was Division 7, followed closely by Division 9.  They will be getting a pizza lunch and milk and cookies, respectively.  Needless to say, many children were happy about doing their spelling test!!
