I’ve got to start with a huge congratulations to Ravena and Mandy who took on the immense responsibility of coordinating the Howl this year and did an amazing job!
There was so much fun to be had at the Howl! The Von Schtinko show was vonderfully funny, the Batty Bingo was brilliantly barmy and the Graveyard so grotesquely gory the visitors shrieked with fear! The younger kids had a blast in the gym playing games and slowed things down with spooky stories in the library. The food in the cafeteria was delicious (thank you Quebec 2020 and Grad 2019 parents for putting on a delicious spread). The pumpkin carving contest was another big hit. The costume contest judges had another tough go this year trying to pick winners from the amazing and creative costumes on display. And maybe it’s just me, but I feel like parents excelled themselves this year with their Halloween spirit and costumes. It seemed like everyone was having a fantastic night. I was about to write the thank yous to everyone who made the Howl happen when Toni Botham made a timely post to the PAC Facebook page. As always, Toni said it perfectly so I'm leaving the final words of this post to her: "Thank you so much to Mandy and Ravena. And also a massive thank you to all of the parent volunteers and the amazing student (and parent) alumni who came back to help. And to the Prince of Wales PAC Leadership class who came for 6 hours to help set up and run the rooms! And, while I am at it, thanks to all of the Gr 7 parents for the help with the Howl Food! I can hardly believe this is my last Howl as a Tennyson parent." Toni Botham Comments are closed.
