Participate in the 2017 BC budget consultation (and request funding for public education!)9/19/2016
All BC residents may participate in the 2017 budget consultation. Insist on adequate funding for public education in BC!
http://ow.ly/6MXJ304m1oQ Questions 2 & 4 allow you to choose funding for BC Public Education as a priority. It takes less than 3 minutes , please take a moment to share your thoughts. Thank you! Calling all Tennyson Tigers! Cross Country Running Team practices for K to Grade 7 will take place Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at 8 am sharp, rain or shine starting Wednesday, September 16 at 8 am. We meet at the front stairs of the school. Students will have the opportunity to run at district mini-meets at other local schools and parks. The cross country season runs until mid-October. All grades are welcome (YES - we want Kindergarteners!). Grade 2s and under must have a parent with them at the morning practices. Tennyson's Cross Country Running team is organized and coordinated by Tennyson parent volunteer, Chris Fuoco. Show your support for our Tigers by joining in the practices and cheering on our Tigers at mini-meets. If you are able to take on other duties such as bringing snacks, driving students to mini-meets, coordinating t-shirt orders or other duties, please contact [email protected]. Here is the permission form. Thanks to Lori for suggesting the following article from the SIRC (Sport Information Resource Centre):
