Babysitting/At Home Alone/ Social Netiquette is open to students in grades 4-7. Beginning November 17, and running until December 15, this new after school program will train students in the business of babysitting, emergency first aid, and caring for kids of all ages. Participants will earn their babysitting certificate at the end of the program. In the At home Alone component, students will learn about personal safety, and how to cope with being at home by themselves. In the final component, Social Netiquette, kids will explore personal and internet safety, and learn about how to think critically while online.
The program will run from 3:05-5pm on Tuesdays. The cost for all 4 classes is $100. Registration forms will be available outside the school office and cheques and completed forms can be placed in the drop box by Friday, Nov 13.
