Sleep Away French Camp for the Whole Family
Are you looking for a getaway and a way to support your child's French Immersion experience? Consider going to BC Family French Camp. French is OPTIONAL [for adults]! The kids speak French during program times. The camps run for two weeks in July and August in each of three locations: Salmon Arm, Nanaimo and one week in Gwillam Lake. Day camp programs run Sunday to Tuesday and Wednesday to Friday from 9:30 to 4:00 with a break at lunch. The kids are kept busy with games, crafts, water sports, hikes, songs and performances. The incredibly energetic counsellors are mostly university students from Québec with some high school junior counsellors. Tennyson families have been in past years and would be happy to share their experiences. Checkout the slideshow from last summer: http://www.bcffc.com/slideshow.html http://www.bcffc.com/

We went to Shuswap last year and had a great time! We coordinated with another Tennyson family and shared meals, supervising kids at the beach and the all important sparkling wine! This year we are going in week 1 on Vancouver Island in August.

Our family has been going to Sushwap Lake for the last 3 years. The kids really really enjoy it. Parents get some down time while the kids are in camp. The counsellors are from Quebec and bring an incredible amount of energy and enthusiasm to the activities. Comments are closed.
