On Wednesday, March 14th, 2019, our students spent the afternoon learning together in multi-age groupings, called the Tennyson Circles. Grade 6 and 7 student leaders showed excellent leadership in presenting a lesson on kindness, empathy and gratitude in our school community. The lesson drew on the previous reading of the book, Have You Filled a Bucked Today? The students presented on the importance of showing kindness to others and then led their classmates in skits about how to be kind in various in and out of class situations. They then had everyone illustrate a bucket with a an act of kindness described in it. It was a wonderful afternoon of continuing to work with and learn with teachers and students from different classes at Tennyson. Great work, everyone! Comments are closed.
