First day of school information for September

I know, I know, it seems like school ended just yesterday (well actually it did), but we thought we'd post info on the first day of school now, in case anyone is looking over the summer. 

We've enjoyed working on the Tennyson website this past year, but are planning to take the summer off before getting back to the fun in September.

So, here's the scoop from the June 27 school newsletter:

The first day of school for Grades 1-7 will be on Tuesday, September 3 from 9:00 am – 10:00 am.

Once again we will have 17 divisions for the 2013-2014 school year. As our classes will be quite full at the maximum number of students allowed per class, we don’t anticipate many changes. Therefore, we will be starting the school year with our new classes commencing on the first day of school. Please refer to the rolling blackboards, which will be located outside, to find out who your new classroom teacher will be and in which classroom. If changes do need to be made, it will be at the discretion of administration and you will be contacted by Mme Lavoie. As mentioned, we will do our best to honor your requests, but we do ask that you respect our professional judgment, as we work together to ensure success for all of our students!

Kindergarten students will have a different schedule than Grades 1-7 for the first week or two in September. This schedule should be mailed to Kindergarten parents over the summer.
