September Start-Up The first day students return to school is Tuesday, September 4. On this day, students will only come for one hour from 9:00-10:00 am. Students will return to their previous classroom and be with their previous teacher for the first few days, until we have confirmed which students are returning or not and we receive the official OK from Human Resources at the VSB regarding staffing and the number of divisions we will be allocated. Students who were in Kindergarten will be with other staff members, as our Kindergarten teachers will be receiving their new students beginning on the first day of school. Please take note of the following, as a few changes have taken place since June. All students will return to their previous classroom with the exception of the following: Mme Simone’s students will be with Mme Nona in the music room, Room 018 Mme Lisa’s students will be with Mme Lyse in the Library Mme Peggy’s students will be with Mme Cynthia in Room 211W Mme Quon’s students will be with Mr. Larochelle in Room 212 Mme Christine’s students will be with Mme Christine in Room 211E Mme Shuh’s students will be with Mme Lapierre in Room 213 Mme Lapierre’s students will be with Mme Teckert in Room 214 Students and parents are asked to line up outside, as we usually do, at the same location as last year. Maps of where to line up with be placed on the playground and orange cones with your teacher’s name will be placed by the doors as reminders. Teachers will meet their students at the outside doors at the 8:55 am warning bell. We thank you for your support in this matter. Jacquie Lavoie Principal Lord Tennyson School |
