The Psychology Foundation of Canada has a new stress management workshop that will help parents support their children and youth to build their resilience and ease the effects this pandemic will have on their mental health while also providing them with lifelong coping skills.
**Please note, this is not a training for child serving professionals, but rather a workshop that will speak directly to parents. If you are interested in professional development, please consider enrolling in the training programs.**
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This research-based program is for parents and caregivers of children 5-18 years old.
It is built on an experiential learning approach. Its aim is to help parents create teachable moments to introduce stress management strategies and build emotional resiliency.
