Good-bye Mme Nona

Mme Nona has been at Tennyson for 26 years! I know, she barely looks 26 years old ...

She has been a Kindergarten teacher, a music teacher, a reading recovery specialist, the learning resource teacher, the gifted teacher, and has stepped in to cover more classes than anyone! She also started the Peer Reading program at Tennyson. Mme Nona also had her time as a Tennyson parent - her two sons both attended Tennyson for their elementary years.

Words cannot express how much she will be missed and how much she helped Tennyson students.

Ma chère Nona,
À la veille de ton départ de Tennyson, j'aimerais te souhaiter autant de joie et de bonheur que tu à su offrir à tes élèves à travers les années. Tu as réussi avec brio, non seulement à éveiller et émerveiller les petits, mais à leur faire aimer l'école. Merci d'avoir été la pour moi lorsque j'en ai eu besoin... Ça fait longtemps... Mais j'en suis encore reconnaissant...
