Good-bye to some Tennyson staff

Departing Staff Members:

Aurevoir to Mme. Lorieau who is moving on to a new adventure as a mom. We wish you all the best and we will miss your incredible ability to run assemblies, teach students, order resources for the school, organize the Quebec trip and on and on. You are amazing and your positive nature will be missed in our hallways.

Aurevoir to Mme. Renee who is moving on to a new school and a new adventure. She will be missed, and we wish to thank her for her dedication and sportsmanship to our school - all the best.

Aurevoir to Mme. Larose-Farmer who is also moving on to a new school. We wish her a happy new adventure and many thanks for all her hard work and creativity with our students.

Aurevoir to Mme. Dricot who is moving on to a new school as teacher librarian. We wish her the best in her new adventure. Her dedication to our students was commendable and we will miss her laughter.

Aurevoir to Mme. Halowaty who is taking a year to explore Squamish were she has commuted from for several years. We wish her all the best. Her commitment to our students and their education was appreciated.

Aurevoir to Mme. Megan who is moving on to a new school. We wish her well on her new adventure. Many thanks for all her hard work and flexibility with our students.

Aurevoir to Mme. Nona as she moves on to a district wide position with the VSB as Reading Recovery Mentor, where she will be training new teachers for their role as Reading Recovery Specialists.

Aurevoir to Chi Ho who is retiring and looking forward to time in the local library reading newspapers and chatting with friends. We will miss his smile and positive attitude.

Aurevoir to M. Alain, and we thank him for the years he worked with our students. His dedication and gentle nature will be missed. We wish him the best as he moves onto a new school. 

Mme. Sona, Mme. Melisa, Mme. Jennifer, and M. Simon are also moving on to new adventures. We appreciate all your contribution to the school and to our students.

Finally to Mme. Siaw who is not leaving us. We want to take this opportunity to thank her for her calm nature while running the office. We hope you are enjoying your new role as a mother and we look forward to your return in the future.

To all of these staff members, a big merci for being part of Tennyson! We are most fortunate to have had you on our team. All the best! And as one Grade 7 grad said, “Once a tiger, always a tiger!”
We hope you will return to Tennyson one day.
