The senior girls volleyball team had another day of games at Lord Kitchener. This time they played four games: won two, lost two - a balanced result. They won against Trafalgar and Henry Hudson's teams, mostly by serving well, staying focused, being prepared to receive and pass the balls over the net. And they lost against the two Kitchener teams, now called Gold and Blue, who played more consistent. Overall, Tennyson played better than the first time, served more aces and communicating well during the play by calling the ball "mine". I even heard them encouraging and supporting each other: "ok, guys, get ready", "guys, call the ball", and the usual "go, tigers". Till the next game Thursday November 14, Tennyson will focus on three touch-play and blocking during the training session. Mme Janesse and Jonah (Kaitlin's mother) will teach them the essential skills and show them the necessary drills. Good job, girls! Thank you, coaches!
