Please join us to celebrate Shaughnessy Elementary School’s centennial: Date - Saturday, September 21, 2019 Time - 10:30 am – 4:30 pm Location - Shaughnessy Elementary School 4250 Marguerite Street, Vancouver Info and tickets - www.shy100.ca Festivities kick off with the opening ceremony in the gym at 10:30am and continue on-site throughout the day until 4:30pm. Don't miss performances by the Coastal Wolf Pack, Vancouver Police Pipe Band, the Prince of Wales Secondary School Band and Choir, a 'through the decades' fashion show presented by Ivan Sayers, and a vintage car show. Enjoy our student-led school tours, themed decade rooms, 1919 movie house, and hall of archives. Get your centennial swag at our Tuck Shop. Try your hand at carnival and playground games from the past century, have some old-school fun in our soccer/sports day zone. Grab a bite from our food trucks, or at our popcorn and cotton candy stands, and catch up with old friends in our tea room.
