The gym was literally hopping with excitement today, for the annual Jump Rope for Heart skipping event. [Ed: tell your kids this is an appropriate use of the word "literally"].
All primary grades (K-3) participated. Students were divided into teams of 4 or 5, and took 1 minute turns jumping in a relay within their team. Imagine, if you will, an entire hour of a whistle blowing every minute, background music blaring, kids cheering, and the sound of jumping feet hitting the floor. A huge thanks is definitely due to the teachers who ran this event!
