Dear parents and students of Tennyson,
As we are closing another school year, I am announcing my retirement at the end of June. I have been teaching nearly forty years (scary) and loved it! I have spent fourteen years at Tennyson, and from it, the last ten years as a teacher-librarian. One of my favorite postings!
I have known hundreds of students, parents and guardians. I am so grateful for the trust that you have given me in teaching your children. Together we shared the learning and tried to nurture their curiosity. Thank you!
I recognized that I needed to reckon with my other passions and let the younger generation lead the way. I have fond memories of my years at Tennyson. I wish you all the best. Always remember that I will have a great interest in your children, their destinies. Wherever they will go, whatever they will do, and whatever they will become.
With love,
Madame Lyse
