Ocean Stewardship Summer Camps - Inspiring Young People to Protect our Ocean

 
Ocean Ambassadors Canada, a local ocean stewardship charity, is offering summer camps at Jericho Beach this summer. The camps combine stand-up paddling, exploring life in the intertidal zone, hands-on ocean health experiments, making reusable items to take home,  and lots of play on the beach and in the ocean.
 
Our mission is to connect young people with the ocean, educate them about marine pollution and ocean health, and inspire them to take meaningful action – to become Ocean Ambassadors.  We know that, as Jacques Cousteau said, “People protect what they love.”
