Please see the following message from Margaret Davidson (acting vp):
[email protected] Dear Parents/Guardians of Tennyson students: I would like to inform you that Madame Alain will be off for the next month on a health leave. I know that you will join me in wishing her a speedy recovery and we look forward to welcoming her back. I would like to welcome Brian Anderson, a retired principal and counselor to Tennyson who will be here to support our school with the many tasks that a Principal needs to complete and keep our school safe and secure. This will also give myself time to complete the many IEP’s and to begin our resource time for students. Brian will be starting on Friday, October 20th. I would like to acknowledge that the schoolboard has been able to help us with our resource support by having a skilled teacher, Ivana Pavlovic who will be working with the intermediate students who are having difficulty with math and language arts. This will free myself up for working with the primary students on their French Language Arts and spending time on resource for Div. 4. I would like to thank all the parents and the staff for being patient while we are working through preparing for these students’ support. We are hoping to be up and running by the end of next week. Our library is closed on Thursdays and Fridays for a short term while Lyse Cote has been placed in Division 7’s classroom so that we have consistency for this class rather than having a number of TOC’s. Also our resource teacher, Stephanie Morin has been placed in Division 4’s classroom until a teacher is hired for this class. I will be taking on her resource role with the primary students and supporting her class in the interim. I do appreciate your understanding and patience during this process and I assure you that all the children are in good hands with very skilled teachers. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Yours sincerely Margaret Davidson Margaret Davidson Acting Vice-Principal Tennyson Elementary School 604-713-5426 Comments are closed.
