Senior Choir was brilliant at Joyful Rebellion Choir Summer Concert

The Tennyson Senior Choir, led by choirmaster Catherine Campolin, sang beautifully at  Joyful Rebellion Choir's summer concert on Thursday, June 14 at St. James Community Square Hall.

The choir, comprising  Tennyson students in Grade 3-5, opened the show with The Show by Lenka and continued with Someone in the Crowd  from La La Land and When I'm Sixty-four by the Beetles. They were then  joined by  Joyful Rebellion Choir, a community choir based in Kitsilano, for  a hilarious and wonderful rendition of Kermit the Frog's classic, Rainbow Connection. I had  tears in my eyes!

I would like to say a huge thank you  to  Joyful Rebellion Choir and Mme Catherine for  providing the Senior Choir students such a wonderful opportunity. It was a very special night. And thank you to Barbara and the team who work so hard to provide the Noon-hour programs  that add such richness to our kids' education.
