What a great day! As usual, the cheers were lively and entertaining (see the Team Red cheer in the video at the bottom). It was wonderful to see the whole community together in one place ... students, teachers, admin, support staff, and parents were all gathered at the front of Tennyson. Thank you to the Kits High Leadership 10 class and Tennyson alumni who organized the day and ran all of the stations throughout the day. Team Yellow winning the Tennyson Sports Day Trophy!
Apparently Team Yellow and Team Blue tied in the tug-o-war event but I need to give a shout out to Grade 6 Team Red (stacked with girls) who solidly won the Grade 6 tug-o-war (yes, my Gr 6 daughter was Team Red).
Thanks for the concession and BBQ lunch, Grade 5 parents (Team Purple) ... you have set the bar high!
