Sports Day 2019

This year's Sports Day will take place Friday, June 14th. We are once again very fortunate to have the Grade 10 LINK Kitsilano Secondary leadership class lead our students in stations and activities on this day. As our field is unavailable for our use this year, we have made some temporary arrangements for our classes to be able to still have a great day of friendship and physical activity.

We will begin the day at 9 am in front of the school with a warm up, followed by the four colour cheers led by our Grade 7 students. At 9:30 am, all students will begin their activities at stations. Primary students will stay and move around the Tennyson School while the Intermediate students will leave for Connaught Park. Primary students will have their lunch first at 12:10 pm outside. Intermediate students will participate in the annual tug-of-war at Connaught Park and will arrive at 12:45 pm for lunch at Tennyson.

Everyone will enjoy a variety of activities after lunch led by Kitsilano Leadership students. Primary students will have a choice of movement, song or cartoons in the gym or in their classroom while the intermediate students can choose a game to play outside. We invite all Tennyson parents to join us on this exciting day.
