Spring Fling Makers Market Vendors Directory

5/26/2024

We were delighted that so many amazingly talented vendors, who also happen to be Tennyson parents, shared their wares at this year’s Spring Fling Makers Market. There were 15 tables at the Makers Market with a range of hand-made goods and some second hand books being sold for charity.
Thank you to Julia for suggesting and organizing the market; we think it really added to the Spring Fling and provided the opportunity for us to celebrate and support the talent in the Tennyson community.
We’ve put together a list of all the vendors with their contact information (the names are linked to emails or to their website) to make it easy for you to contact them for more information about products.
Spring Fling Makers Market Vendors
  • Charlene, Wahwah Designs’ pottery is timeless and would look fabulous in any home.
  • Lisa, Periwinkle Designs, makes eco-friendly beeswax food wraps, un-paper towels, reusable facial rounds, baskets, bags and pouches. The carefully curated sustainable materials and patterns are so fun, and the quality of her products is exceptional.
  • Tatiana’s hand-knit baby clothing would make the perfect baby shower or new baby gift, and her elegant bracelets would be a beautiful gift for a new mum.
  • Bob hand-crafts stunning wooden cutting boards, charcuterie boards and salt cellars, that would make for a great statement piece on your table, or be a perfect gift option.
  • Jhenifer shared an essay anthology, Midlife No. 2,  the second and final anthology of works from 27 former members of the Gateway, the student newspaper at the University of Alberta.
  • Arlene and Jennifer make earrings, bracelets and cute and funny greetings cards (including fantastic Father’s Day and thank you cards, in case you still need to buy one).
  • Masha crochets gorgeous bikinis and crop tops and was also selling lovely paintings.
  • Danielle makes a range of all-natural, chemical free, body products including sunscreen, body scrub and body butter.
  • Irene's elegant jewelry looks great with casual and dressier outfits.
  • Sara’s dog fashion, that’s made from up-cycled hoodies is both super cute and eco-friendly. Reach out and she will custom make an outfit for your pouch or kitty.
  • Toby and family’s lovely jewelry will add the perfect finishing touch to any outfit.
  • Brenna's holiday ornaments will add sparkle to your holiday decorations.
  • Petit Foret Play Cafe, at 2668 West 4th Avenue, is more than a coffee shop. It is a contemporary and inclusive environment designed for families to foster sharing, development, and socializing. Pop in or visit their website to learn more.
