On Tuesday, November 6th all classes at Tennyson had an amazing opportunity to learn more about West African culture and music through a drumming workshop. Kunda performers taught our students in French how to create original rhythm by playing traditional instruments such as gongoma, bolon, marimba and others. Students also learned about African culture, language and geography through joyful music and dance. You could feel the positive energy and learning taking place as each class had a chance to enjoy and be part of this fantastic show. A big thank you to Tennyson PAC for sponsoring this energetic and interactive French performance for all our students! Thank you Mme Vosahlo for the great post and pictures. | |
