Tennyson News - Week of October 3

Hello Tennyson parents,

Happy October! This is what is happening at Tennyson this week:

Kick-Start Campaign - deadline for donation is Oct 14

Thank you to the many, many parents who have already donated to our annual Kick-Start Direct Donation Campaign. This is the only tax-deductible way to donate to Lord Tennyson PAC. The funds are used to enhance and enrich our students' education ... Student Speakers (like Saleema Noon Sexual Health and iGirl & iGuy), Technology (iPads, wireless keyboards, etc), Science Kits, Sports Equipment (have you heard about the new sports bins that each division has received?), Peer Tutoring, Classroom Funds, Library Funds, French atlases, and Playground Funds (we are saving to replace the front playground which is slated to be removed), and so much more. Photo Day - Tuesday, Oct 4

Practice the smiles - Individual Photo Day is this Tuesday. Nothing needs to be done in advance (other than pick out the clothes!)

Noon Hour Programs - start this week

There is now one opening in the Hip Hop Jazz program (Grade 1-5), and 2 openings in the Karate program (Grade 1-7). Please email [email protected] if your child would like a spot.

Volunteers are still needed on Tuesdays (until Oct 25 at a minimum) & Thursdays (ideally 2 parents since there are 45 choir students to round-up).

Lunch Ordering - it is open!

The first lunch is Wed, Oct 12 (after Thanksgiving). Orders must be placed by Sat, Oct 8 in order to start lunches on Oct 12. After that, late orders take one week to process.
