Tennyson team set up for the ChildRun - register now!

Thanks to Carina (mom of Kai in Gr 1) for setting up a Tennyson team for the ChildRun which takes place on Sunday, June 1.

The ChildRun early registration ends Tuesday, April 15.  A Tennyson school team page has been set up, in case we can get 10 runners interested. It is called Tennyson Track Tigers. This means we would get customized t-shirts delivered to the school and a team photo. The event is held on Sunday, June 1st, at Queen Elizabeth Park. 
All proceeds support BC Children's Hospital.

The 5 km race is fun and very well organized, though if you have a young runner, adult accompaniment is a good idea, since the crowds are pretty huge.  Each child registered will need his/her own parent to be with them ... Tennyson will not be providing parents to chaperone (the crowds are too large to watch extra kids).

Register here and be sure to choose to register for an existing team and then search for Tennyson Track Tigers. No, you do not need to be part of Track & Field to register.
