We lucked out again this year with perfect weather, on Thursday, May 23, for the Spring Fling. DJ RocknBeau played one crowd-pleaser after another in the courtyard, and had the audience jumping and singing all night.
There was all sorts of fun to be had at the party. The face-painters were a big hit, decorating children's faces all night. It was fantastic to see Mme Kerri and members of the SOGI club hosting a table again this year. The Spring Fling banner was a lovely colouring activity (we'll be sure to hang it somewhere for everyone to enjoy) and lots of kids had fun running races on the field. Tennyson Community Spirit was on full display at this year's event with Tennyson parents sharing their creations at the Makers Market. We were wowed by their creativity and talent. And the food! It was truly delicious. Thanks to the families that baked the delicious treats for the bake sale, and the three food trucks, Meet2Eat, ChouChou Crepes, and Puerto Tacos (owned by a Tennyson family), no-one went hungry. Thank you to everyone who planned and organized the event and to all the volunteers who helped out on the night. You're all wonderful! If you have any pictures you want to share on the blog from the party please email them to pac@lordtennyson.ca Comments are closed.
