Thank you from Team Purple, the Quebec 2020 Organizing Committee

Thank you to all the families who ordered lunch and came out to support Quebec 2020’s Sports Day fundraiser last Friday.  We could not have done this event without all of the amazing volunteer parents who planned the event, set-up the space for “Team Purple Concessions”, worked the grill, sold tickets, delivered hot lunches, served up refreshing freezies and treats, and then cleaned it all up at the end of the day. 
 
A special shout-out goes to all the Grade 5 students who worked hard to keep the concession stand lines moving throughout recess, lunch and after school.  Way to go!  It’s been a great start for the Quebec 2020 fundraising.  The newly formed team will be back next year with more lunches and events to offer!

A special HUGE thank you to all our sponsors:  Maple Leaf Foods for providing the all-beef wieners, Starbucks at 1758 West Broadway (Broadway and Pine location) for providing the coffee, Loblaws / Warehouse Club for providing some of the concession items, and to Sportball Vancouver for the gift certificate.   Arita Barton in Division 15 was the winner of the draw for the Sportball Gift Certificate. 
 
The Quebec 2020 organizing committee would also like to acknowledge support from Mme Adrienne Heron, the Coldrey-Lo Family, and the Mason Family who donated some of the treats.

This fundraiser could not have taken place without the support of the school administration.  We are incredibly grateful to Doug and Regina for their support, and to Sam for all his assistance on the logistics.
