Thank you so much Whole Foods and their customers for raising $2.043 for Tennyson! Whole Foods made Tennyson one of their second quarter bag donation charities at their Kitsilano store. At the register at the Whole Foods on 4th, customers who didn't use a bag had the option to receive the 10 cent per bag refund as cash back or they could choose to donate it to a designated charity. We were one of the lucky charities. The money raised will go towards the playground and outdoor education spaces for the new school. We also need to give a big thank you to Tennyson parent Katherine, who has coordinated this as well as a number of other fundraising events for the school.
